Policy and Waiver for “Kids Cooking Camp” classes
For Your Child’s Safety:
Absolutely no open toed shoes (ie sandals or flip flops); rubber sole shoes required. No long or loose clothing that can get caught in appliances. If your child has long hair, it must be tied back.
Children and teens must be well-behaved at all times. In the case of discipline problem, parents will remove their children and money will not be refunded
This is a professional kitchen with sharp knives and hot equipment. Your child may be using sharp knives, cooking on the hot stove, or taking food in and out of the oven. Classes are taken at your own risk and every precaution must be heeded.
Parents must be available by phone should an emergency arise.
Please notify us if your child has any food allergies. We will try to accommodate but can't guarantee not using the allergen.
Cancellations, Missed Classes, etc.
If a child misses a class during the weekly session, there’s no make up and no refund, however, recipes are available
If your child is going to be late, call (310) 350-3772.
Cancellations received in advance of May 31, 2007 are eligible for a refund less a handling fee of $50. You will receive a check for the remainder within 10 days of cancellation.
Cancellations received after May 31, 2008 will not be refunded. Why? The kitchen has been reserved and paid for, most of the supplies have been purchased and planned for, additional teaching staff has been hired, other expenses have been incurred and it’s impossible to fill a late vacancies.
In the rare event that we have to cancel a class, you will receive a full refund or may opt for another week.
