PAYMENT and REFUND policy:

  • Cancellations received less than 72 hours before class or once a series has started are not eligible for a refund or a credit. You can send someone in your place. If you don’t send someone to take your place, this is considered as a “no show” and you forfeit the opportunity to take a class.

  • If you’re using a GIFT CERTIFICATE to take a class: Cancellations received less than 72 hours before class or once a series has started are not eligible for a refund or a credit. You can send someone in your place. This is considered a “no show” and you forfeit the opportunity to take a class.

  • In the rare event that we have to cancel a class, you receive a full refund or may  opt for a credit.

  • No infants or children allowed in class unless there is prior approval by me.  The kitchen is no place for babies and children unless it's a pre-designed kids oriented class. Children detract from everyone else's experience.

  • Menu items may change without notice.

  • Payment  must be received before a confirmation will be sent. Please write your   e-mail address and daytime phone number on your check.SBSOC accepts checks and PayPal.
Please make checks payable to SBSOC and send to our mailing address:
South Bay School of Cooking, 2110 Artesia Blvd - #155, Redondo Beach, CA 90278.
    Before sending a check,
send an e-mail to Annette to verify that the class is still open. Or use your credit card thru PayPal
When using either payment method, be sure to specify what class(es) you are taking.

To enhance your SBSOC experience:

Please bring a pen, apron, and wear closed-toe rubber soled shoes. Don’t wear long or loose clothing that can get caught in appliances. If you have long hair, tie it back. Remember, this is a kitchen equipped with sharp knives and high heat. Classes are taken at your own risk and every precaution must be heeded. Anyone who is intoxicated will not be allowed to stay for class and your fee will not be returned.

We promise that you don’t have to wear hair nets. And yes, you can walk away with the recipes and devour the delicious rewards of your hands-on labors.

We appreciate your cooperation.
